Advisory about beach water near Hallandale Beach Boulevard

(BROWARD COUNTY, FL) – Florida Department of Health in Broward County is recommending people not to swim at the beach near the following location: HALLANDALE BEACH BOULEVARD.

Samples of beach water collected at this area did not meet recommended state requirements. All other beaches in Broward County tested satisfactory.

Certain bacteria could create unhealthy beach water conditions and may cause swimming-related gastroenteritis.

New results after retesting will be available late Friday afternoon, August 17, 2018, and posted at www.floridahealth.gov/environmental-health/beach-water-quality/index.html.
