Tobacco Free Youth and Young Adult Essay Contest

Fort Lauderdale, FL – The Tobacco Free Partnership of Broward County, the Tobacco-Free Workgroup of the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade and the QuitDoc Foundation are sponsoring a Youth & Young Adult Essay Contest to educate the public on measures to reduce access to tobacco and nicotine, and the harmful effects of tobacco and nicotine use.

The Youth Summer Essay Contest is open to anyone under 21 years of age. The young author of each winning essay will receive a $100 gift card to an establishment that does not sell tobacco products. 

This contest has been approved by the Broward County Public Schools Superintent's Screening Committee.
