Outreach Planning Group (Speakers and Community Events)

Planners of health-related events in the community can invite the staff of the Florida Department of Health in Broward County (DOH-Broward) or outside organizations to participate as vendors or speakers at the event. To do so, please complete the following form and submit it to DOH-Broward.

Guide To A Successful Health Event

Vendor and speaker requests are shared with members of the Outreach Planning Group (OPG). The OPG is a community group led by DOH-Broward, with members from local governments, community agencies, volunteer groups, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

These organizations work together to showcase available health-related resources and services, and to coordinate educational and outreach activities. OPG shares advice, feedback, and information regarding community events with a health component. OPG meets monthly and everyone is welcome to attend.
