The Florida Department of Health in Broward County (DOH-Broward) conducts permitting and inspections of tattooing facilities in Broward County and permitting of tattoo artists to prevent the spread of bloodborne disease. The inspections are done using prescribed minimum sanitary and safety requirements related to the design, operation, and maintenance of tattooing facilities and temporary establishments.
