HIV 500 and 501 Blended Learning Registration Information

The HIV 500 and 501 course is a blended training of online coursework and face-to-face classroom instruction.

Both the HIV 500 TRAIN Florida course (basic HIV counseling and testing training) and the HIV 501 TRAIN Florida course (advanced HIV counseling and testing training) are required for certification as an HIV counselor and tester prior to offering publicly funded HIV testing services in the state of Florida. The online courses are hosted, free of charge, through the TRAIN Florida platform.

Online certification for the HIV 500 and 501 is required for attendance into the face-to-face classroom instruction.
