Planners of health-related events in the community can invite the staff of the Florida Department of Health in Broward County (DOH-Broward) or outside organizations to participate as vendors or speakers at the event.

Vendor and speaker requests are shared with members of the Outreach Planning Group, a community-led group organized by DOH-Broward. The group consists of members from local governments, community agencies, volunteer groups, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
These organizations work together to showcase available health-related resources and services, and to coordinate educational and outreach activities.
The Outreach Planning Group shares advice, feedback, and information regarding community events with a health component.
The group meets monthly and everyone is welcome to attend.
